Playing with Bears

I was walking down a street I used to live on and saw a group of children playing with two bears.  The bears were more like bear cubs.  The children were running around and having a good time.  I decided not to go down the street because I did not want the bears to start playing with me.  I turned around and walked back down the street and the children and bears got closer.  Now the bears were chasing the children and not playing any more.  I asked them if I should call 911 and they said yes.  I tried to call 911 but ended up programing my phone.  It kept asking me what I should call the 911 program.  The bears started chasing me around a house and kept trying to get my phone call to the police done.  The police eventually showed up and surrounded the bears with their police cars.

Garden Party

I was working with a group of people in cleaning up a back yard and garden.  We were digging up the ground.  Somebody found something that he said was a home for a fox.  He said somebody had made it special.  I looked and it was a large clay pot that was open at the top and had a long tube running out of it that went down a small hill.  The person who found the home said the reason we could never trap the fox was because there were two exits to the fox's home.  Also he said somebody had set the house up for the fox in defiance of the rules against helping foxes and other animals.  There were a lot of other people there any many of them were playing musical instruments or reciting poetry or acting in plays.  I found some music and started playing drums to the music.  I asked somebody if there was a ukulele part in the song.

Camera Training

I was walking with two people, one older and one younger.  The younger man decided he was going to learn to use a camera that uses film instead of digital.  He explained that film cameras was a new trend.  He had recently bought a camera.  It was a twin lens reflex camera.  We were trying to figure out how to use a correct exposure.  The camera had a light meter on it but the light meter used an old fashioned metering system and did not match the film speeds.  I suggested he just get the closest match and see what happens.  The older man then started talking about film speeds and using the sunny day rule.  I pointed out he could not use the sunny day rule because the film speeds did not match the exposure setting on his lens.

Submarine

I was out on the lake with a sailboat.  I came on some debris that was drifting and collected all together.  There was a submarine with all the other debris.  I hooked a line to it and dragged the submarine into the marina.  The marina would not pull the submarine out of the water.  I demanded they pull the submarine out and they told me to wait for a supervisor.  I had to wait on my boat across the channel from the marina.  There was a lot of ice built up and I had to sit on a dock that was covered with ice. 

Cross Country Driving Race

I was with a group of people who were planning an automobile race across the United States.  I go assigned to a driving team against my will and against the will of the leader of the team.  We planned to start the trip from Atlanta instead of New York because that would give us an advantage.  We would meet the main group halfway across the United States and complete the race.  While we were driving I told the rest of the team that we should make really good time because somebody could be driving all the time.  I told them about my experience driving cross country and they admitted I would be valuable to the team.  We stopped in a diner to wait for the rest of the racers.  While we were waiting the leader of the team decided we were going to wait outside instead of inside.  I told him I would wait inside because it was more comfortable.  He told me that I could not be on the team anymore if I would not cooperate.  I left the diner and didn't care that the team would lose now.

Pillow

I was in a cafeteria and sitting down to eat.  The seats all had pillows to sit on.  The pillow on my chair did not have a cover on it so I decided to cover it.  All I had was a pair of cut off jeans.  I put the jeans on the pillow and the jeans split in the back.  The pillow was bunched up so it looked like a buttocks through the split in the jeans.  People started coming in and laughing at the pillow and jeans.  I thought to myself that I had worn those jeans many times and wondered if my buttocks hung out like it did on the pillow.

Typing

I was working in an office and had just received a promotion to a new job.  I had to move to an office and there was a computer set up for me to use.  I tried to get logged in but cold not get my username and password correct.  My password was very complicated and difficult to type correctly.  There were people delivering furniture and they started telling me how and what to type.  I looked down at the keyboard the almost all of the keys were missing.  There were just little pegs sticking up that I had to depress to type.  Also there was a numeric keypad attached and part of my password was on there using the 00 key.  I was still trying to get logged in when the supervisor came in and asked me if my reports were ready yet.

Secret Message

I was working with a group to get a secret message out of the country.  The method of getting the message out was it was in a TV and the message would play when the TV was turned on.  The TV was a large flat screen TV.  I had to get the TV down a cliff to a boat waiting in the water.  The cliff was straight down and very smooth.  I threw the TV down the cliff and it banged against the cliff a few times then landed in the water and floated there while the boat picked it up.  The people in the boat started complaining about my throwing the TV but I could see that only the volume know was broken.  It was time for me to get down the cliff and I decided to jump.  At the last second I decided it was too dangerous to jump.  It was too high and I figured either the impact would kill me or I would go so far down in the water I would not be able to get to the surface.  The boat fired a treble hook with a rope attached and I rappelled down the cliff.  When I got to the bottom I discovered I was part of the Normandy Invasion and had to climb back up the cliff.  There was a small path that wound up the cliff and I crawled up.  

Swimming pool

I was in a large back yard and there was a swimming pool there.  I took all my clothes off and started swimming under water.  I swam past somebody and it was a little child.  I was embarrassed because I didn't have any clothes on.  I cam to the surface of the water and the pool was full of people.  I went to the side of the pool where my clothes were and tried to get them on without getting out of the pool.  Everybody came and watched while I was trying to get dressed .

Niagara Falls Indians

I was looking at an old map that showed the location of an Indian tribe that lived near Niagara Falls.  The camp was set right on a hill next to the falls.  They could look down the hill right into the falls.  There was a gentle slope that lead to a cliff.  If an Indian fell asleep on the slope he might roll down the slope and fall off the cliff into the falls.  I was looking at the river downstream from the falls and there was a lot of wood and branches that were forming a dam.  Somebody told me the dam would eventually become permanent and fill up the river so there would be no falls anymore.

The Bad Boss

I was working in an office building.  The floor was all white and there were grey boxes that came up out of the floor at regular intervals.  The grey boxes were printers that printed out information.  It was my task to make sure the printers kept printing by scheduling print jobs to different printers.  I had the schedule worked out so that there was some idle time at the beginning of the run but then all the printers started at once.  The end result was the work got done faster.  My supervisor made me change the schedule to get rid of the idle time at the beginning so it appeared we work working more efficiently but in reality it took longer to get all the work done because of the changes he made me do.  I did it anyhow because I was getting paid by the hour.  

More than one of the same person

I was driving down a road with a friend.  We pulled of the road to take a rest and there was a copy of my friend.  She was an identical copy and said she was from the future.  Then there was another copy and my original friend disappeared.  Then a new copy showed up and one of the other copies disappeared.  I ask one of them which was the original and she said it didn't matter because they were all the same.  We drove to a house and I put the emergency brake on because we were on a small hill.  My friend got out and walked around the house to find an open door.  My car backed down the hill and crossed the road and ended in a field.  

Shootout

I was in my small hometown and visiting some friends.  One of my friends got grabbed by a person who had just broken out of prison and was using her for a hostage.  A group of us got together and decided we were going to chase them down and arrest them.  I had a small automatic handgun.  We saw the criminals and I shot at them.  My gun was actually a squirt gun and did not shoot bullets at all.  I got a six shooter from somebody.  It was chrome plated and a large caliber with a long barrel.  We found out where the criminals where staying and the sheriff said we should guard the back door while he went to the front and made the arrest.  When the sheriff went to the front door the criminals came out the back door.  there were two of them and one of them had my friend hostage.  We were in a gully and looking up at the criminals.  One of them looked at me and said "The game is up boys".   He started to pull his gun out but I shot him real fast,  three shots right in the heart.  The other criminal started to to shoot and I shot him three times too but he did not drop to the ground real fast.  I shot one more time and the bullet was like a flare and hit him in the knee.  Then he fell down and made a long speech before he died.  The sheriff did not arrest me because it was self defense. 

Filling in a hole

I was working in a warehouse and sweeping the floor.  I used sawdust to see where I had swept so far.  I swept up a huge pile of dirt, mostly hair.  I took the dirt outside the building to empty.  There was a doorway that was below ground level.  The doorway had a large hole around it so it was visible from the surface of the ground.  The hole was a semicircle and lined with large square rocks.  I started filling in the hole by tipping the rocks into the hole.  The rocks were very heave but with a lever I was able to tip them in.  Every rock that went into the hole lined up perfectly so there was no gaps and the rocks laid flat instead of being all jumbled up.  One of the rocks did not go perfectly in place and I had to nudge it in its place just a little bit. 

Going to work

I was going to work in a new place .  I could not get in the driveway because the car in front of me was stopped.  The driver got out and started to talk to me.  He told me this job was like no other I had ever done before because the most important thing was to fill out the time slips properly and to let the managers know where you were at all times.  I drove around him and went into the building.  There was a large glass wall with desks and people working there.  They were all eating sandwiches.  somebody told me they were having lunch because I was coming there to work.  They also told me I was late for lunch so I should just go to work.  I started going down a brick hallway to get to my office but I was not walking , I was still driving.  The hallway slowly curved to the right so I could not see what was in front of me in the hall.

Stinky clothes

I was talking to somebody about working for them.  I was riding my motorcycle and the gas tank was all covered in something that was mud colored but sticky like chewing gum.  I tried to scrape it off but could not get it.  I was dressed in a suit and tie .  The people I was talking to walked away and one of them said to the other that my clothes smelled bad.  I asked them why they did not tell me.

Gas Station

I had to pull in to a gas station to get some gas.  The gas station was at the top of a hill.  While I was filling up the tank my car suddenly accelerated and rolled down the hill.  The only thing that stopped it was the hose from the gas pump.  The hose was pulled tight and bent over so no gas would come through.  I tried to get my car started but it would not keep running because of the bend in the gas hose. Every time I started my car it rolled a little farther down the hill.  The gas line was stretched over somebody's car and they could not move.  They got angry and disconnected the gas line.  The started pumping gas into a small glass jar.  I told them that was my gas they were pumping.  They got even more angry and shot gasoline all over my car and then all over me.  I left in a hurry because they were lighting matches and throwing them at me. 

War Games to decide an argument

I was in a room and having an argument with a woman.  I don't know what the argument was about but we decided to settle it by playing a game.  The game was a war game based on WWII naval battles between the United States and Japan.  We were using small replicas of the ships to play the game.  The woman had all of her ships on a table and I had all my ships on the floor.  One of my planes caught a glimpse of her fleet and I launched all my planes from all my aircraft carriers.  She complained the I was not allowed to do that but I didn't care.

Circus Performers

I was with a group of people who were putting on a performance.  It was a diverse group of white and black men and women of all different ages.  The main part of the show was spiritual singing.  In addition we had planned a circus act, the main one was to walk on a rope suspended about 12 feet in the air.  Someone dared me to walk across the rope and I did walk from one end to the other.  Then the group wanted me to walk back to the other side and I declined.  I looked at the rope and there was somebody riding a bicycle across it and doing other stunts.  The rope was sagging in the middle because of all the weight.  We had to tighten is back up.  The end of the performance came and the ringmaster, who was a black lady and all dressed in a fancy evening gown, called me down to applause for crossing the rope.  I was dressed in a white tuxedo with long tails.  People in the audience came up to me and said how much they enjoyed the performance.  I went outside the building and there were some very tall black men walking towards me.  They were dressed in some sort of uniform that was mainly decorative.  One of the men said I should salute the leader.  He asked me what was going on inside the building and I told him it was a minstrel show.  The men got visibly disturbed at that and I explained to them that there were no end-men and no black-face and it was really more of a variety show.  That seemed to calm then down and they said it was all right then.

Parts for the Machine

I was working in a warehouse and had the task of ordering parts to repair the machinery.  There was one machine in particular that need many repairs.  The parts all came in one shipment.  There were many neon light tubes of different sizes, a cowling that had a motor on the end and a frequency generator.  I went with the technician to replace the parts.  The neon lights fit in a very tight spot and we had to bend the bulbs so they would fit in properly.  The technician said it was lucky the bulbs were flexible.  We didn't need the cowling but needed the motor on the end.  I told the technician that we had to order the whole assembly to get the motor.  He was really surprised about the frequency generator and said he had been trying to get on for months. 

Black snakes

I was walking through somebody's house and walked through a child's bedroom.  There was a wading pool along one wall and there were two black snakes swimming in it.  They had big eyes.  They started to come after me and I left the room.  The people who owned the house told me the snakes were pets and slept with their daughter at night.  They told me I should try being friendly with the snakes.  I laid down in the bed and one of the snakes came and snuggled up next to me.  It rolled over on its back and it had legs.  It curled up like a cat and fell asleep.  I felt it's skin and it was dry and smooth and soft.  The snake was actually very comforting to sleep with.  The people who owned the house said they raised the snakes specially to be friendly like that.  They said the snakes were only friendly for a few years and as they got older they started to bite.  I saw one of the snakes that was a little older and it had grown legs and short brown hair all over.   

Double and triple cross

I was working for an organization and planning to steal a large amount of money from them.  I had to put the money in a safe every night before I left.  The money was in a large brown bag and I did not check it.  The next day the manager brought me in and accused me of stealing the money.  He had the whole thing on tape where I took the money out after putting it in.  The tape clearly showed me taking the bag of money out of the safe.  I told them I had to take the bag out to double check that it was OK.  I noticed in the video there was a gap in the recording of 15 minutes.  That was when I figured out my manager was trying to steal the money and frame me by manipulating the video.  There was a detective there and he said they would have to drop all the charges because of the gap in the surveillance video.  I knew than that I had gotten away with the money because the bag I put in the safe was really a bag full of newspapers and I had switched the money earlier that day.  The detective told me he knew I did it but could not prove it.  He knew because I looked different in the video than real life.  

Cowboy Boots

I was at a rummage sale.  In a box I found a pair of cowboy boots.  They were beautiful and had carvings all over them.  I tried them on and they fit perfectly and were very comfortable.  They looked like brand new boots.  The person who was running the rummage sale told me the boots were not part of the sale and he wanted them back.  I decided I would keep the boots no matter what he said.  There was a girl who admired the boots very much and we started kissing each other.

Childhood Friend

I was riding a bike down a street.  It was the street I used to live on when I was young.  I was an adult now.  I went past the house where my friend used to live.  I could recognize the house because it had a stone wall in front of the house.  There was a guy coming out of the driveway in a funny looking car.  The car was flat on all the surfaces and had an engine in the back. The engine sputtered and backfired a lot.  Also I could see inside the car because it did not have any sides.  I looked at the driver and figured it must be my friend as an adult.  I figured I would follow him and talk to him.  The car was very slow but I could not catch up to it because of traffic and stop lights.  I finally caught up with him and realized he was much younger than me.  It turns out that he is my friends son and not my friend. 

Opening Ceremony at Olympics

I was with the Olympics and getting ready for the opening ceremony.  My task was to get all the flags ready for each country so they could come and get them in alphabetical order.  The flags were hanging on a wall in bundles.  I had to grab a bundle off the wall and lean them up against a wall for the people to get.  The flags were stiff and flat.  A bundle of flags was about as big as my hands could grab.  Somebody came in and told me to get ready to march in the parade.  I didn't have anything to wear except jeans and a plaid shirt.  They gave me a full length tan leather coat with fringe across the back and down the sleeves.  I looked very western and got to walk into the stadium.  All the flags dipped when I walked past except for the American flag.  Somebody told me the Americans were arrogant to be the only ones who did not dip their flag.  

Girl I Wanted to meet

I was painting a building.  There were some other people painting but they were at another building down a hill from me.  I had a stripe I was painting all around the base of the building and when I pulled the striping tape off there were small leak all around where the tape had been.  In the other group of people there was a girl I wanted to meet and get alone with.  We had a supervisor who also wanted to get this girl alone.  I mentioned to her that I was cleaning up the office in the morning and she said she was going to come too.  The supervisor then said that he was going to come instead of me.  I knew he was just coming in to work to get the girl.  The place where we stored the paint and brushes was at the bottom of a long stairwell.  I took the supplies down and found there was another office at the bottom of the stairs.

Naked Attack

I was in a building with three other men.  The building had lots of hallways.  We were all naked except for white towels around our waists.  There were people trying to break into the building and we had to fight them off.  We used machine guns and rocket launchers.  I realized I was dreaming and started telling someone about my dream.  I explained to him how we fought the attackers off with flame throwers and chain saws. 

Little dog

I was living in an apartment with a woman who was my wife or girlfriend.  We had to take care of a little black dog that belonged to an older woman.  The dog was very friendly.  One night the dog chased an intruder out of the apartment.  The older woman came back and took the dog back.  My girlfriend said the woman did it to be spiteful.

Flying at Night

I was with two people.  One of them was learning to fly a plane and we were going for a ride right at sunset.  I asked him if he ever flew at night before and he said this would be his first time.  I asked him about his plane and he said it was 37 feet long.  I asked him what the cabin was like and if there was a place for people to sleep.  He said there was a bed in the plane but he did not like to sleep while he was flying the plane.  I looked around and the other person was gone.  I figured they thought they flying at night was too dangerous.   We started driving to the airport and had to turn into the freeway.  There was a police car approaching us and we pulled in front of it.  The police car put his sirens on and I told my friend to pull over.  He said the police were trying to get the people in front of us to pull over because they were driving so slow.  They were driving so slow that we had to keep putting the brakes on to stop from hitting them.  The police car pulled up next to us and told us to pull over and then started following the slow car.  We waited and the police did not come back so we went ahead to the airport.  We got in the plane and went racing down the runway with lots of bumping and noise.

Pet Snake

I was in a living room with a lot of other people.  Somebody mentioned their snake was missing.  I looked in the other room and saw a snake crawling down a chair leg with it's tongue darting in and out.  The snake dashed across the floor so fast I couldn't see it.  I looked back in the living room and the snake was there with a big bulge in it's stomach.  Somebody said the snake ate the cat.  I looked and the cat was still there.  It was a grey kitten with blue eyes.  The snake had eaten something but we couldn't tell what.  Whatever it was it was still alive and moving around inside the snake.  It stood up inside the snake and stretched.  It was all the way at the tail end of the snake.  Somebody suggested we cut the snakes tail off to free whatever the snake had eaten.

Army Surplus

I was in the Army and in a barracks.  We were in France or Germany.  I received a large package and it was full of overcoats.  I had ordered them from the Army Surplus place and was going to sell them to make some money.  Everybody wanted some overcoat so I gave them away and still had lots left over to sell.  Another package came and it was full of duffel bags.  The duffel bags also had a sleeping bag and a waterproof tarp inside them.  The duffel bags were all different colors and not green.  I tried to give some away but nobody was interested.  I packed everything up into a big box and decided I could not carry it all so I taped it up and sent it home to sell when I got back

Driving West Sep 22

I was with three other guys and we were planning to drive out west.  It was hard deciding what time to leave because we had things to do first.  Finally we all decided to leave on Friday as soon as all the work was finished.  We decided to drive straight through without stopping.  I decided my truck would not be good four four men to ride in so decided to rent a vehicle.  I went to the rental place and was looking around at different cars.  There was a golden Cadillac and it had a fancy design painted along the sides.  The design was lots of faces and figures.  One of the was a woman who looked surprised.  There was a couple looking at the car in order to buy it.  I looked again and it was not a car but a trike with big handlebars.  The designs were still on it.  The woman did not want to purchase this trike but the man was adamant about it.  

Driving West

I was in a car driving cross country to the west.  I had a female companion who was going to meet somebody to get married.  We drove through countryside with lots of wheat growing.  We came to a city and there was a factory on the side of the road.  The employees had to cross the road to get from the parking lot to the factory.  There was a warning sign and I slowed down.  Right in front of me a bunch of employees crossed the road and I had to slam the brakes hard to stop from hitting them.

Block of Teflon

I was working on a large block of Teflon.  My task was to drill holes in it and then slice it into smaller slices.  When I drilled the holes the Teflon came out in a curly string.  The block of Teflon was about 12 feet tall and 12 feet wide.  It was about 6 feet thick. 

At a Restaurant

I was at a restaurant that specialized in spaghetti.  They had all sorts of spaghetti with different sauces to try.  I got a sample plate.  I looked over at the chef of the restaurant and he had his penis in a hot dog bun and was putting chili on it.  I complained to the owner of the restaurant and he said sometimes the chef like to play tricks on the customers.  He said sometime the chef like to trick people into putting ketchup and mustard on his penis as well.

Band in Church

I was in church and leading a small orchestra.  It was mainly composed of children and they did not know how to play their instruments.  I encouraged them to play anyhow.  The players were all crouched down so they could pop up and surprise people when they started playing.  I had to get up on a platform to direct them.  The platform had ladders that I had to climb and when I got to the top the platform was all wood.  I looked down and the children in the band were all on a stage that was lighted up with red and blue lights.  They started playing and even though they didn't know how to play they sounded great.  Even though there was only about 5 or 6 of them they sounded like a full orchestra. 

Small Church

I was at a service in a small country church , possibly in another country like England.  I was sitting next to a man who was telling me the history of the church.  I told hem pretty soon they would need a larger church.  I looked around and saw that we were really sitting in a greenhouse that was attached to the church.  It came time for communion and the priest made a special exception so I could have communion.  He did not really want to give me communion but was doing it for my girlfriend who was a member of the church.  The priest wrapped me up in a purple cloth .  I looked like a baby all wrapped up.  Then he dipped his hands in water and baptized me.  I dipped my hands in the water also and watched the water run through my fingers. Then he gave me communion.  The wafers he gave me were really Doritos chips and were too thick so he had to keep breaking them in half.  I assisted in breaking the wafers in half.  He had a whole pile of wafers in front of him so that it looked like a bowl of potato chips.  Eventually I got communion and went to talk to my girlfriend who was sitting with a bunch of her friends.  I told her the priest gave me communion but she just ignored me.  

War Games

I was at a meeting where it was all men.  The meeting was over and we were all going to spend the night.  One of the men had brought games to play.  He took one of the games and dumped it on the table and there were thousands of small pieces.  I decided to play a game where I defended a castle and somebody else attacked.  I started adding up the defenses on the part of the castle the person was attacking and there were all sorts of surprises.  The bunkers were "hardened" and there were bunkers all over the board.  Each bunker had extra men in them who were elite and could fight better.  The special pieces were loaned to me by somebody playing another game.  I laughed because my defenses were so strong the person playing against me would be so surprised.  The pieces were stacked so high I could not straighten them out and they kept falling over.  In the corner of the castle I had a dragon who defended it.

Airport Security

I was standing in line at the airport to go through the scanner.  The man behind me had a large bag.  The security guards came to the man and made him open his bag.  Inside was a large camera and bundles of money stuffed all around it.  The security guards made him take the camera out.  It was very large and had three lenses that could be rotated depending on which one he wanted to use.  I mentioned to the man it was illegal to take pornography across the state lines and he said he knew that.  The guards told him he could go on and go through the machine.  One of the guards took a portable disk drive and downloaded all the pictures from the camera.  The camera was full of pornographic images.

Eating at a church dinner

I was standing in line to eat at a church dinner.  It was spaghetti and meatballs.  There were two girls who were dishing out the food.  They said for extra money I could have more food.  I decided to get more.  They took a paper plate and loaded it with food.  It was so full it was making the paper plate fold and spill food all over.

Eating at a cafeteria

I was eating at a cafeteria.  They served me chicken noodle soup.  The broth was clear and there was a tiny piece of chicken and one noodle in the soup.  I asked the server about it and he said that was what you get with chicken noodle soup.

Bouncing dog.

I was walking down the street and a couple were coming toward me.  They were walking a large furry dog like an Irish Wolfhound.   The dog broke loose from the couple and started walking toward me very slowly.  The couple decided the dog would be OK and went about whatever they were doing.  The dog came up in front of me and started jumping up and down.  The dog was jumping on it's back legs so it was bouncing.  The dog had a silly grin on its face.  I turned my back on the dog and it grabbed at my coat.  I heard a ripping noise and the dog ripped out a part of my coat.  The coat had a blue liner in it and the liner was showing.  I turned to face the dog and it grabbed my hand.  I hit the dog on the head a few times and the dog became very docile and sat in front of me.  I could tell the dog would do anything I wanted then. 

Ladders and Buildings

I was standing on the roof of a tall building with 3 other people, two women and one other man.  The man was showing me how we had to climb up to the top of the building by using ladders.  I looked and the ladder went up the last few floors.  He explained we use the elevator then climb the ladder to get to the top.  He asked me if I would be more comfortable if the ladder was inside the building instead of outside. There was another building right next to the one we were standing on and he put a ladder going from our building to the building right next to us.  He then climbed up and went to the next building.  He asked me if I would feel better if the ladder had a cover so I didn't have to look down.  He put a triangle shaped cover over the ladder and one of the women started across.  While she was crossing the other woman climbed up the ladder on the outside of the building we were on and placed a ladder going to another building.  She crossed with no problem.  I looked around and all of the building had ladders connecting them together so it was possible to walk from one building to another by ladder.

Busted

I was walking through a small town in the dark.  I entered a house and there was a band playing with a lot of people watching.  The band was four black men playing bells and chimes.  They were obviously having fun playing.  There was no other percussion even though there were drums that nobody was playing.  One of the percussionists I recognized as somebody who was a panhandler.  I thought maybe all drummers are panhandlers to make ends meet.  I walked to the front to get a better look.  They invited me to join in playing.  One of them handed me a long peace pipe.  I was reluctant to take it but did anyhow to not offend them.  I took a long drag on the pipe and it was quite noisy.  Everybody laughed.  They showed me the proper way to smoke the peace pipe, which was to blow through it and somebody else could inhale the smoke.  The drummers were all Rastafarian's I now noticed.  They assured me there was nothing in the pipe that was illegal.  In fact they were smoking some kind of nut than was dried out.  They lit the nut and inhaled the smoke from it.  One of them told me I was having an excellent reaction to the smoke.  I went back to the back of the house and watched while women were roasting the nuts to prepare for smoking.  They had an oven and the nuts came out every once in a while ready for smoking.  Even though there was a fire in the oven I was cold and got underneath a blanket.  There were several other people under the blanket with me and I felt embarrassed.  Just then the police came in to the house and started arresting everybody.  They took me away and told me I was now in the custody of the state of California.  The police took us to a holding area next to the lake and we had to go in front of a judge.  All the Rastafarian's claimed they had a right to smoke because it was part of their religion.  I considered joining their religion so I would not be prosecuted but the judge disallowed the religion argument.  We were all put in trucks and taken away. 

On a Pier

I was standing on a pier with some other people.  The pier was all wood and surrounded by water.  We had to hang name tags on post that were sticking up.  The tage had to be in alphabetical order.

Stow Away

I was in a large warehouse with a lot of boats stored inside.  I looked behind me and there was a box that was shaped like a door, tall and not very thick.  There was a piece of plywood that was coming out on the bottom of the box.  It moved out more and more .  I pulled the piece of plywood off and there was somebody inside the box.  It was somebody I knew but had not seen for a long time.  They told me they were living inside the box and somebody had nailed it shut while they were in it.  I asked him how he could breath inside the box and he said that he just barely made it out.

Trim falling down

I was working on the inside of a house and there was some trim that went around the wall about half way up.  It was wide enough to place dishes on if you stood them up.  One piece kept falling down and would not stay up no matter what. 

Moving out of Office

I was at my old job and we were tearing down the old computer and moving to a new room.  The job was mostly done.  I took a few inches of the AC wiring where it went into the computer.  There were four pieces, three of them were white and one was blue.  I bundled them together and tied them with red tape at the top.  I mentioned to somebody that it was a rabbits foot now.  Somebody came in and said I couldn't take that wire but I told them that was how we convinced people the computer was really uninstalled.  There was a room next to the computer room.  The whole wall was a door that swung open.  Inside there was just a lot of pieces left over.  I left the room and as I left I noticed the ceiling also had hinges on it.  This enabled the roof to be lifted up and closed down like a cigar box.   When the ceiling came down it had a lip that fit into the door very nicely.

Cars and Trucks

I was helping a truck driver by leading the way through traffic.    The truck was a tractor trailer rig and had to pull out of a parking lot into a busy street.  We got going and the truck started flashing his light and blowing his horn.  It looked like the trailer had come disconnected from the truck.  I pulled over and the truck driver started shouting at me that we couldn't go this way.  I had to turn around and get more gasoline.  We got to our destination which was a house with an office inside.  I looked outside and it was snowing.  I remember thinking how odd to get snow in the middle of August.

Crazy Sergeant

I was in a room with a lot of military people.  It was a discharge processing area.  I was a sergeant and learned that if I made an angry face I could get people to do what I wanted faster.  While the people were typing my papers another sergeant came in.  He was a sergeant major and had lots of stripes.  He had more stripes than is normal but still was a sergeant major.  He knew more about putting an angry face on that me.  His face was so angry that steam was coming out of his ears and his eyes were bulging out.  Everybody dropped what they were doing and started doing his work. 

Red Sandstone Cliff

I was walking along a cliff that was all smoothed out from water erosion.  It was red sandstone and had lots of designs in it.  I looked closer and it was full of tiny grooves from the water running over it.  I looked up the cliff and it looked like the map of a city from all the patterns that were grooved into it.  There was a small cave where I could rest.  I looked down and there was water everywhere.  There was a small outcrop of rock and my car keys were resting on it.  I was afraid to disturb them because they might slip and fall into the water below.    

Two of Me

I was at a gathering and somehow I was there twice.  There were two of me identical in every way.  It was decided that one of the two me's should be killed to avoid confusion.  I kept telling everyone I was the real me but nobody was convinced.  An old girlfriend said she had placed an X on me in case something like this happened.  I looked down at my knee and there was the remnants of an X on it but it was mostly worn off.  Nobody was convinced I was the real me.  There was a line of people waiting to get in to a house.  some of them were reading a comic book about skeletons.  I told them I had the original and that the one they were reading was a reprint.  I told them the original was in black and white and the one they were reading was in full color.  My old girlfriend then said I was the real me because the other me could not possibly know that.

Small Christmas Party

I was in a room on the second floor of a house.  There were four other people there, all men.  Two of them left to go get ready for the party.  I was watching a TV show and it had skaters.  The skaters had to do a lot of strenuous stunts and the man on TV said that many of the female skaters were really men.  I looked and the skaters were all shown from the back and waist down.  It was hard to tell that the skaters were men.  I was looking through a magazine that my roommate had purchased.  It was full of Christmas things and had instructions on how to draw them, like "How to Draw Santa" and "How to Draw a Reindeer".  The price on the cover was $4.50 and I thought what a good deal for so much information.  I decided I would keep the magazine and not tell anybody.  The other person in the room decided he had to leave and called his mother to pick him up.  He was young and Japanese looking.  I was all alone in the room and decided this was not a good way to have a Christmas Party.

Cleaning Up

I was in a building with a few other people.  We were picking up trash that was laying all around.  I walked into one of the rooms.  It was a mens restroom.  There were two other people in there.  One was an older person who is dead.  She was shuffling around like she was confused.  I walked out of the restroom and into a lobby.  There was something stuck on the bottom of my shoe.  I picked it off and it was branches from a tree.  The branches were all white and bleached out.  I started breaking them in half so the would be easier to hold.  When I looked at them again they were really bones.    

Installing computers

I was in an office with lots of older computers.  There was hardly any room to move around there were so many.  My task was to install some new disk drives.  The disks were big and had lots of big cables coming out of them.  I walked to a stand up tape drive and punched some buttons.  The tape stopped moving and I knew I had done something wrong.  There was a display with red letters that had some computer terms on it that displayed the status of the tapes.   I looked around and somebody pointed at me.  I walked to him and he told me he knew what I had done.  I walk over and started hooking up the disk drives. 

Prinicpal's Office

I was back in high school and had to go to the principals office.  As I walked down the halls I looked in a mirror and saw I was a young man with long dreadlocks.  I was very handsome and the girls were looking at me and smiling.  The halls of the school were a light green and there were orange chairs along the walls.  I walked in the office and asked if the principal was in.  The girl behind the desk said that was a good question and wished she had a job as easy as the principal.  The girl recognized me and said they had a book I had to read.  I looked on the desk and there was a book of Psalms.  The book was very thick and had a hard cover with gold lettering.  The secretary told me that was not the book I had to read but it wouldn't hurt me to get some religion.  I told her I go to church every Sunday and she was impressed.  Just then the principal came out of her office.  She had been having a conversation with a man and he left.  She looked at me and smiled.

Fancy Dinner

I was staying at a high class hotel with a friend.  People were taking pictures but she did not want her picture taken.  We were going to a dinner party in the evening and I could not decide what to wear.  I thought a suit would be fine but my friend wanted me to wear a tuxedo.  There was a group of men sitting at a table and I asked them for advice.  They told me definitely wear a tuxedo because the event was too fancy to wear anything else.

Busy Office

I was working in an office with a lot of people.  My task was to take the mail and put it in the proper boxes.  All the boxes were overflowing with mail.  There was one box that was very important and I had to take care of the mail there.  It was for military re-enlistments and was very far behind.  The mail was falling all over the table from the mailbox.

Security Alarm

I was walking around a city with lots of different buildings.  The city was actually inside a big building with a tile roof.  We were leaving the building and I had to set the security alarm.  The code was 0720 and I entered it several times but the code did not take.  The police were coming and I tried to call to tell them it was a false alarm.  

Driving by the Lake

I was at a small town on the edge of a lake.  I was cleaning a car and somebody was helping me.  I suggested we go for a drive.  When we got into the car it was a big yellow school bus and we drove on down the road.

Elephants

I was in the backyard of somebodies house.  It was a summer day and and the grass was green.  There was a little girl playing in the back yard.  A very tiny elephant came in the back yard.  The elephant was no larger than a dog.  The little girl started petting the elephant and hugging it.  The elephant loved it and it's trunk went way up in the air.  All of a sudden the mother elephant came up the driveway.  She was very angry.  I grabbed the little girl and we ran into the garage of the house.  The mama elephant took the tine elephant away and left us alone. 

Cloth factory

I was in a factory that was making cloth.  The walls were all white.  There was a large machine that was making cloth.  My task was to take the cloth as it came out and roll it up.  The cloth kept going crooked and the rolls had lumps in them.  Sometime the cloth would catch on a nail in the floor and then start tearing so that made the bundles of cloth uneven.  I took the bad bundles and put them on a stack.  The stack of bad bundles was growing very fast.  Somebody else was running a sewing machine.  The machine took several spools of thread and wove the threads into rope.  The rope was very loosely woven and it had a distinctive geometric pattern to look at.  The pattern was complex and beautiful to look at.  All the threads were different colors.

Crawling to the warehouse

I was crawling along in a ditch trying to get to a building.  I was crawling to avoid being seen.  Two friends were on the other side of a field and kept yelling to me to hurry up.  A helicopter flew over head and illuminated me with it spotlight.  I tried to hied but the spotlight would not go away.  Finally I stood up and walked to the building.  When I got inside there was an argument going on.  Large men with hard hats were standing across from each other and shouting at each other.  They were holding four by fours in their hands and beating their chests.  I got closer to watch and another group of men cam charging out and a big battle started. 

Sports Car Conversion

I was at a diner and had driven a yellow sports car there.  It was yellow and only had two seats.  It had chrome mufflers that came out on each side.  While I was eating some kids came by and one of them carved his initials in the chrome muffler.  He also was an employee of the diner.  I told the owner that one of his employees had damaged my car and the owner said the employees could do anything they want when they weren't working.  I walked out to my car and more people were carving their initials in it.  I called the insurance adjusters to come out and look at the car.  There were about six of them and they were dressed in black suits with narrow black ties.  They started looking over the car.  They started to show me the rust spots and places where the chrome was peeling off.  One of them said the chrome was just paper and the best thing to do was to just rip the paper off.  They ripped off the paper and the car was no longer yellow but all black.  It was no longer a sports car but a roadster from the 1940's or earlier.  It had a big engine and exhaust pipes coming out the sides.  The cab of the car was more modern and rounded. 

Monkeys

I was in a building with lots of corridors and rooms.  I was walking with one or two more people.  They mentioned to me that there was danger around because the monkeys were angry.  We walked through a room that was full of monkeys.  They looked at us angrily but did not attack.  We walked slowly to avoid getting them angry.  We left that room and walked down a hallway.  Some of the monkeys followed us and started chasing us.  We ran into another room and it was also full of monkeys except these were bigger like gorillas.  There was a door on the other side of the room and if we made it to the door we would be safe. 

Pipe Cleaner Monkey

I was with a group of people.  One of them showed me a toy.  It was a monkey that was created out of wires like pipe cleaners.  They draped the monkey around my neck and it started to hug me.  I looked down at it and the monkey had turned into a live baby with big beautiful blue eyes.  I started to worry about where to keep the baby because I was living in a dormitory with a bunch of men.  There was a crib in the room so I put the baby in it and the baby was happy.  Everybody else in the room went on like nothing unusual was going on. 

Fishing Trip

I was in a boat with several other people.  We were there for the specific purpose of fishing.  The boat was traveling though the water very fast and I hooked a fish.  I shouted out for them to slow down but the driver kept on with the speed.  The fish was pulled off the hook because we were going so fast.  I caught another fish and got it in the boat.  There was  a woman on the boat and she said we had to purify the fish before we could eat it.  We had to purify it by kissing it's chest.  Nobody actually kissed the fish however we blew on the fish and tapped its chest three times.  I asked the lady where she learned this ceremony and she told me Uranus.  I watched the fish.  It was not flopping around but just laying on the boat very still.  There was a light in its eyes that slowly went out.  We then chopped off the head and tail of the fish.  The head we attached to a pole and dragged it in the water.  I noticed other fishing boats were doing the same thing with fish heads.  I asked the captain why and he said to get little pieces of fish meat in the water to excite the other fish.  I looked around where we were fishing and saw it was a channel.  The channel was lined with rocks on each side and was perfectly straight as far as I could see.  Boats were traveling very fast.  I looked behind me and there were so many boats in the channel they were churning up the water.  The water was all foamy and white with large waves.  The boats passed all around us and our boat was completely swamped with water.  I looked up front and my camera was soaked in water.  I turned it on and it still worked.

Conspiracy

I was involved in a conspiracy with a group of people.  We were conspiring against some authority figure but I am not sure who or what.  I was talking with somebody about including another person.  They asked me why this person should be included and I said because they were so smart.  The person I was talking to did not want to include this other person because they were too aloof.

Old Photographs

I was at the drugstore and there were a pile of envelopes with photos I had just got processed.  The man behind the counter made a comment about how many there were.  I started looking through them and there was a note attached to one of the envelopes.  It said to be sure to keep food crumbs out of the film because it could scratch the negative.  I looked and the negatives and slides were covered with crumbs of food.  I took a vacuum cleaner with a hose and blew all the crumbs off.  There was one envelope that was all in white.  It was a handmade envelope.  Inside where three black and white photos.  I had never seen any of them before.  One was a young girl sitting in a stroller.  The other was very old and looked like it had been color at one time or maybe was hand colored.  It was me as a child standing in front of a theater.  There were lots of adults around dressed in costumes like it was a Halloween party.  There was a man dressed like a cowboy wearing hairy chaps.  His shirt had been tinted a light pink color.  The other picture was a line drawing of something I did not recognize. I put them back in the envelope and noticed there was also a picture on the envelope.  It was the line drawing.

Strangers in the warehouse

I was walking around in a large room like a warehouse.  Everything was all in white but the lights were very low so it appeared to be dark.  There were rows of boxes that were about 5 feet high arraigned so that you could see over them but not walk around easily.  There were three teenage boys walking around looking at things.  I questioned them and they said the door was unlocked so they just walked in.  I knew the door was locked but could not figure out how they got through so many locked doors.  They left and the cleaning lady came in.  I told the cleaning lady about the boys and she showed me a bunch of screws that they had left behind.  I gathered up all the screws and counted them to make sure we had them all.  I placed them in a bowl on the floor.  As I was walking out I accidentally kicked the bowl and the screws went all over the floor.  The cleaning lady helped me pick them all up and recount them.

Party after work

I was working in an office and cut out from work to go out with a friend from work.  We went to a tall building.  There was a restaurant in the top floor and it was full of people.  We saw at a table with a lot of people I did not know but my friend knew all of them.  A band of bagpipers came marching through.  Everybody linked arms and started swaying back and forth to the music.  It came time to leave and I had to get a taxi. 

Water Skiing

I was at a small lake.  There was a large boat.  It was odd looking because it was shaped like a grandstand.  It had a roof and lots of outboard engines on the back.  This boat was set up to pull skiers.  The boat was selected because of all the power it had.  The boat started out and jumped in the air and back in the water.  There were lots of skiers.  There were also people being pulled along in all manner of boats like canoes and kayaks.  Everywhere I looked people were getting pulled up out of the water and skiing.  There were so many skiers they were all crowded together.  One skier got too close to a kayak and banged his head.  We reached the end of the lake and there were so many boats and skiers there was no room to turn around and go back the opposite direction in the lake.  Everybody just sat there.

Leaky Pipes

I was standing in a basement looking up at some stairs.  All around the stairs were pipes.  The pipes were all different, copper, plastic and iron.  One of the pipes was leaking.  I disconnected the pipe and had a closer look.  The connection was all rotted out and broken.  I noticed a large pipe going up that was leaking a lot.  The water coming out was hot.  It was gushing out and running down the pipe.  The pipe was broken at the bottom too.

Cooking school and buildings

I was attending a school where they taught us to cook.  The building was round and white and shaped like a cake.  Inside was all white with stairway going to different parts of the building.  On a balcony somebody was showing us how to run a blender.  The blender was very special because you could stack containers on it and mix several things at the same time without them getting mixed together.  First they made a dish of blue stuff, then stacked another dish on top and made a batch of red stuff followed by a plate of yellow stuff.

The school was downtown and we were staying in a hotel in the suburbs.  To get back and forth we had to drive a small building.  The building was about six stories high and had four wheels.  It was small on the inside with enough room for four people to sit but was tall.  The building shook and went up on two wheels when we made a turn.  The driver said that when we got to the hotel we would have to the car.  I asked why we didn't drive the car instead of the building but nobody paid any attention to me. 

We had to climb up some stairs to get to the top of the building.  There was a man there who was in charge of the building.  He cautioned us about the stairs because they were not level but leaned downward a little bit and somebody could loose their balance very easily on it.  There was an window and we could look out over the city.  There was a lot of construction going on with cranes on top of buildings.  We watched as one of the cranes lifted a large generator to the top of one of the buildings.  Three men had to duck to avoid getting hit by the generator as it swung by them.  The generator then grew some hands and reached out to position itself in the proper spot.  Behind that we could see the worlds tallest building being built.  We started down the stairs and the building manager warned us again about the cracks in the stairs and to be careful.  I could see the cracks had been filled in to keep a smooth appearance.

We walked outside the building and our car was waiting for us.  It was round like a ball and blue.  It had a clown face for the front of the car.  The face had a big red open mouth smile.  On top of the car was a tall pointy hat that swayed back and forth as the car drove away.

Party in a tent

I was inside a large tent.  The sides were made of screen so that the breeze could blow through.  There were many people there and they were all playing games.  The games they were playing were military miniature games, fantasy miniature games and some that I did not recognize.  The group of people slowly left the tent until there was only myself and a man with his two sons.  The sons were like 12 and 8.  The were dressed in masks, feathers and looked like something you might see from an African village.  The danced with the father in the middle and one of his sons on each side.  The masks got very big so they covered all their bodies and all you could see was the masks and arms and legs sticking out.  

Fish in my lettuce

I was breaking apart lettuce to make salad.  When I pealed the lettuce back there were small silver fish in the lettuce.  They were still alive and like minnows.  I took them out and placed them in a plastic bowl.  They were swimming around and I thought I they would make a good snack later on.

Funeral

I was in a cemetery which had a large circle made of cement in the middle.  There was one woman there dressed in black with a black veil over her face.  She was mourning the death of her child.  I asked her what her child died from and she said it was a infanticideectomy .  I asked what that was and she said the doctors put her child to death to save her life.  Apparently the child was too much for her health to stand.  I thought why didn't she just give the child up and why would doctors do such a thing.  The cement oval we were standing on had a large wall that divided it into three or more parts.  I walked to the other side of the oval and there was a large group of mourners but they were dressed in bright colors and seemed happy.  They were mourning the same person as the woman on the other side except they were angry at her for letting it happen.  They wanted nothing to do with her. 

Computer Center Remodeled

I was at a computer center.  This is a common place in my dreams.  The floor is all white and there are cubicles made with tile and glass.  The room and been all remodeled.  The computers were all on the other side of the other side of the room than where they had been.  I talked to someone and they said the whole room had to be rewired to accommodate the remodel.  There were a few people who knew me and they said they were glad to see me after so long.  I told them I would be coming back more often.  A few people started smoking and the whole room filled up with smoke.  I thought to myself I would not be coming back if it was going to be so smokey all the time.

Old shed

I was looking around in an old shed that belonged to my grandfather.  I opened the back door and there was small bundles of money there.  The money was folded in half and looked like it was made up of 10's and 100 dollar bills.  One of the bundles had a watch and some other jewelery.  The money was laying in piles of straw or hay.  I walked around to the front of the shed and it had a small brick patio with a roof over it.  There was a door in the front also.  I decided the shed would be a nice place to live if it had some paint.  I started to paint the front door and the wood soaked up all the paint.  The wood was very aged and had large cracks in it.  I kept painting and eventually the paint stopped soaking in to the wood.  I was painting the door with white paint but i did not have enough paint so some of the wood showed through.

A really big boat

I was riding in a big boat.  The boat was so big I could look down on all the other boats.  They looked like rowboats compared to this boat.  The boat had two engines.  A normal one plus a large outboards engine.  We got the boat going really fast then started up the outboard and the boat doubled in speed.  Just ahead of the boat was a small island with a rocky shoal.  We had to swerve at the last second to not hit the shoals.

Across the Lake

I was down by the edge of Lake Erie at a marina.  People were working on their boats.  One man was polishing his red sailboat and it was very shiny.  I looked out over the lake and I could see people across the water.  It appeared to be a family of four. They were very large and a little bit fuzzy in appearance.  Also they floated above the horizon like an optical illusion.  They waved to me and I waved back.  I turned to the man polishing his boat and he could see the people across the lake also.  Since the people across the lake waved I knew they could see us too.  I told the man polishing his boat that I had seen all the way across the lake before also.

Out of body dream experience

I was in a white hallway with tiles on the floor.  There were two men with me and each one grabbed me by an arm and we started running.  We started flying very fast.  We flew so fast we crashed through some sort of barrier.  I was immediately aware that I was dreaming.  All around me was soft glimmering globes of light.  I knew I was having an out of body experience.  I decided to fly over to the house of a friend  and see what they were doing but it was too cold outside and it woke me up.

Cardboard in the Warehouse

I was walking through a warehouse.  It was piled high with stack of cardboard.  I had to pick out some pieces for use.  I had to walk through an isle to get what I wanted.  There were pieces of cardboard that were in the shape of numbers and letters.  The had lots of nails sticking through them for the purpose of string lights on so you could have lighted up numbers.  As I was walking down the aisle it started getting lower and I had to duck down.  It also got narrower.  I would have turned around except somebody was coming behind me and they were pushing a large piece of cardboard that blocked my exit.  I finally had to crawl to get out.  When  I got out there was a yellow ladder leading up to a platform that had a tow motor on it.  I started to climb the ladder but it was too narrow for my feet to fit on the rungs so I ended up hanging by my hands.  There was another ladder that was all white.  I did not climb it but somebody else did.  The ladder went up to apparently nowhere.  When the person got to the top the ladder started swaying back and forth and I had to steady it.

White faces

I was looking in a black box.  Inside the black box was a white face that glowed slightly.  I was shouting at the face and telling it to go away.

Cooking on the plane

I was with a group of men and we were flying in a WWII type bomber aircraft.  My job was to cook for the crew.  I had to chop onions very finely because the pilot did not like onions and I had to hide them because the rest of the crew did like onions.

Total darkness

I was with a group of people and we were in a small room.  You could only get to the room by climbing up a ladder through a hole in the floor.  We were doing something that required using electricity.  All of a sudden the room went entirely black.  I could not see anything it was so dark.  Somebody said the owner had been threatening to shut off the electricity if we continued doing whatever it was we were doing.  I suggested maybe we just blew a fuse and the lights would be on shortly.

Young Woman Getting Married

I was in a large living room or kitchen with a lot of people there.  They were all talking to each other.  Sitting at a table was a young woman who was talking to an older man.  They talked for a long time and finally he left.  It was time for all of us to leave but the young woman did not want to.  She kept saying that the older man had asked for her hand.  In fact he had given her a huge diamond ring.  We all tried to convince her that the man was too old for her but she insisted on accepting the proposal.

Soldering wires together

I was working on some electronic equipment.  It had to be modified to fit a different style plug.  The plug was actually two plugs.  To do the modification I had to solder two wires to the connector the plug went on.  The wires were cut to length and were orange.  There was also two yellow wires that had to be connected to the plugs.   I soldered the wires in place and it was a perfect solder job.  The solder was very shiny. 

Let the dog in

I was in a small room like a hotel room.  There was one other person with me.  In the hallway I could here two people arguing and fighting.  There was a dog barking also.  I opened the door and there was a lady outside and she asked if her dog could spend the night in my room.  I answered yes but she would have to take care of my cat.  The dog came in the room.  It was a small whit scruffy dog.  The cat left.  It was a all black cat with shiny fur.

Campground

I was visiting an uncle or maybe my grandfather.  They lived on a large flat expanse of land the they had converted to a campground.  They had a nice house in the middle of the campground and lots of machinery for maintaining the grounds.  I took the lawnmower for a ride.  It was a tractor that had a lawnmower behind it.  I looked all around the campgrounds.  Most of the spots were empty.  There were a few that had trailers on them.  The trailers were dilapidated and lots of children were around.  I thought to myself these people live here all year round because it is cheaper than rent.  One of the trailers also had a lean to with a tin roof attached to it.  As I drove past it a bunch of children ran out and I had to swerve so I did not hit them.  I turned back to the main house and thought to myself that this was a good place and I should think of buying it. 

Computer Repair

I was working in a small office.  Everything was white, the walls and floor.  I was working with a group of men who were trying to repair a computer.  We had been working  on it for a long time and eventually got everything going.  I called somebody to tell them I would be late coming home.  As I was walking out the door somebody said the printer was broken also.  They pushed a button and a continuous flow of paper came shooting out.  I remember thinking the clutch was stuck.  Just then somebody walked in to fix the printer and they had a large grip full of tools.  I could go home then.

New Log Cabin!

I was with two other people, one was a young woman with dark hair and eye, the other was a very young girl with blond curly hair.  We were walking along rows of houses that were all the same.  The wood was light pine that was varnished but not painted so it had a very natural look.  Finally we found the house that was ours.  It had a front porch that went the whole length of the front of the house.  There was a door on each end of the house.  I thought the house was a double because of the two doors.  We walked in to look around.  The house was small.  The cooking area, kitchen and living area were all in one room.  To sleep we had to climb up a ladder to a sleeping loft.  It was very much a log cabin.  The little girl climbed up the ladder and started to play in the sleeping loft.  I looked around the house and saw that the second door I saw outside also opened into this room so the house was not a double at all.  I went to another ladder to climb up to the sleeping loft and the ladder came loose and I had to balance the ladder back and forth.  I got the ladder back in place with no accident happening.  

Baptism Day

I was with a friend of mine at a church that I dream about frequently.  The church is round with the altar in the front of the church.  What makes this church unusual is the seats are all arraigned in a circular pattern and the rows ascend toward the altar.  I was with my friend because his daughter was getting baptized and he was the sponsor and I was also a sponsor.  The preacher called off all the name of people getting baptized and they all went up the stairs to the altar.  When we got there the preached called out my friends name and said there were some complications.  I got angry and asked what the complications were.  The preacher did not want to answer at the time because it was too complicated.  She asked us to go out the back door and wait to talk to her after services.

A big moving day!

I was moving out of a small cottage type house.  It had two levels that were connected by a wooden staircase.  Everything was moved out with the help of kids from the church.  the only thing left were small stature that lined a shelf all around the room.  Maybe they were trophies instead of statues.  I walked up to my father and asked him what we should do next.

Cat in the house

I was sitting in my house and noticed a grey cat that had white stripes walking though the living room.  Then I saw another cat that was chasing the grey striped cat.  The grey striped cat was a female and the other cat was a male and trying to mate.  The male cat bit the female cat on the neck to make it stop running away.

Silver Plated Cane

I was talking to a female astronaut while she was in space.  She showed me some of the things she had brought in space with her and one of them was a silver plated cane like you would use for walking.  It had belonged to her father so it was very valuable to her.  Something went wrong with her space ship so she had to bail out and parachute to earth.  She jumped out and took her cane with her.  I remember thinking it would take several hours to parachute to earth but since she was an astronaut she could handle that.  When the parachute finally opened it ripped the cane out of her hand and it fell to earth separately.  It also ripped off her space helmet and her hair spilled out all over her shoulders.  She had long beautiful hair.  The cane landed is some swampy water and several people went to retrieve it.  One person found it and I tried to tell them it belonged to the astronaut.  The person showed me it could not possibly belong to the astronaut because it was not a cane at all it was a silver plate that had a train engraved on it.  It was not silver at all but aluminum.  I remember thinking to myself it's not an antique.  Then the person showed me the real purpose of the plate.  It was an accessory to be used with snow shoes.  It was filled with oil and the motion of walking allowed a lever to move up and down and release one drop of oil at each step.  The oil ran down the side of the plate.  The astronaut strapped the plate on her back and started to walk around.  It was quite bulky and hard to walk.  She walked along a wall and knocked off some of the plaster because it was so difficult to walk.

Bad day at Work

I was trying to get in to work.  My key would not work and I had a badge that should have opened the door.  There was a receptionist inside and she kept telling me to get my badge perfectly aligned with the side of the tray and it should work.  No matter how hard I tried I could not get in.  Finally the door opened and I went inside.  There were two men waiting inside.  They were going to give me a test.  One of the men asked me if I knew what E95 was.  I asked him if he meant the gasoline E85 and he just asked me if I was taking notes or not.  This got me so angry I gave him the finger and walked out.  When I got in the road it felt so good to just be in the fresh air. 

Working on electronics equipment

I was working in a large room with racks of electronic equipment.  It was older equipment that had lots of backplane pins sticking out.  We were trying to figure out what the problem was.  I was working with two other guys and I was the new guy.  They did not respect my opinion very much.  We walked down some stairs to find one of the racks was not seated very well.  It had a connector with pins and needed to be reseated and then screwed in.  I remember we commented that is the connector had a ridge around it it would not come loose so often.  I was given the job of putting the rack back in place and tightening the screws while the two other guys went up the stairs.  

Fire at my old house

I was at my old house and there was a large fire pit in the back yard.  The pit was about 20 by 20 yards and about 4 feet deep.  It was full of scrap lumber and parts for a wall that had been pulled out of the house.  Nobody was around and the wood was smoldering.  I decided to put the fire out since it could have easily spread to the house.  I moved some of the wood around and the flames shot up.  I had a hose and sprayed it into the fire.  I could see right in to the hottest part of the fire and aimed the hose there.  The fire went out but came right back twice as big.   The people who own the house now come home and started complaining about me putting the fire out.  I showed them the piece of wood that was leaning against the house.  If I had not put the fire out it would have crawled right up the wood and set fire to the house.  Just then the wall that was in the fire flipped over and fell against a wooden deck that was attached to the house.  The fire was very hot and no matter how much water I sprayed on it it kept burning.

Flying

I was walking along a sidewalk that was a gentle curve that ran alongside a city street.  There were trees that were just starting to bud.  I wasn't walking though I was gently flying along.  The sidewalk entered my view from the upper right and left my view below my body. 

Car, mechanics and jazz

I took my car to the garage for some repairs.  My regular mechanic was there plus a group of people I do not know.  While the car was on the lift there was music playing on my CD player.  It was cool jazz.  The mechanic cam out from under the car and said he couldn't work on the car while that music was playing.  He then walked away.  I took the CD off the player and looked at it.  It was orange in color.  I noticed a bad smell.  I asked the people where the smell was coming from and they told me it was coming from my car.  I think it was coming from the gas tank.  I asked the people if the mechanic would fix it and they said he would not work on my car.  They told me the catalytic converter needed repairs.  I told them it was under warranty.  I drove away wondering who I would get to work on my gas tank now since the mechanic did not like my music. 

Singing at Church

I was sitting in a large congregation of people.  We were listening to a group of three men who started performing.  They were performing in the back of the church and were not easy to see.  They were terrible.  Everybody was complaining about them.  The pastor walked down the aisle towards them and told them that I said they were no good and should stop.  Then the pastor looked at me and said "Isn't that right".  I looked at the performers and told them they were different but that was not necessarily bad.  The men looked at me like they did not believe me.  The pastor started to pray and everybody lifted their hands.  First we lifted one hand then we put that hand down and lifted the other hand.  I looked back at the men and they were not lifting their hands but had put on bandannas and sunglasses. 

Dancing in Erie

I was in a store that sold musical instruments, mainly drums and drum kits.  The drum kits were lined up on a small stand that was in front of a window.  My friend was there and he showed me how he played using his hand and one stick.  We all decided we would go to Erie for dancing.  The way to Erie was up a hill.  It was not far so we were walking.  The way up the hill had lots of paths that formed y's going up the hill.  The paths were sand and were squishy between my toes.  I was walking barefoot.  Off to the right was an old abandoned train station.  There was a plaque there explaining the significance of the station.  We decided it was too far to walk to Erie and stopped at a dance place.  It was a dance school and it was segregated by sex.  The men danced on the top floor and the women danced on the first floor.  We went up to the second floor and it was full of people dancing.  There was a mirrored ball and flashing lights.  There was one person who was very big and was dancing and walking backwards.  He almost ran me over.

Fishing in a pond

I was fishing in a small pond. The water was funny and actually I could walk across it if I walked very slowly and carefully. It was like Jello and jiggled when I walked across it.

More thoughts on worlds smallest bird

I had something I remembered about a dream I posted last week Dreaming of Synchronicity: Working at a Startup company . 

When I was walking across the floor I noticed a cage that had the worlds smallest bird in it.

The gap in bars on the cage was too big and the bird could have gotten out at any time except it did not. 

Playing at Work

I was visiting an old workplace.  They were located downtown and I had to enter through a glass door that had white paint on it to block the view.  The inside was several desks with people working at it.  I noticed some of the people were playing baseball.  They had a pitching mound and threw the ball toward the front right over people heads.  I mentioned to the manager they needed a pitch back to make things faster.  The manager looked at me and then made his best pitch.  He looked like a major league pitcher except for his big belly hanging down. 

Chasing Tigers

I was with a group of people who were chasing tigers.  We were hunting them in a large maze with lots of panels and doors and pathways.  We would find the tigers by letting them chase us down the hallways.  Eventually somebody came up with a trap that would catch the tigers.  It was a huge view camera and the bellows would close down and trap the tiger.

Working at a startup company

I was working in an office with a lot of other people.  Everybody had a desk that was really a computer.  We did remote support for different customers.  The office was all white and the desks were all in neat rows.  I was talking to somebody and he said his customer was working good but the printer was working really slowly.  I told him I had seen that problem before and it was caused by a disk problem.  The company had very little money so everybody who worked there also had to live there.  There was only one place to shower.  I had to shower before going to a customer's site.  I walked across the floor to get my towel and noticed the floor was all soft and squishy.  It was very comfortable to walk on especially since I was walking on it with no shoes.  I told everybody how comfortable it was to walk on but they ignored me.  I walked to the shower but somebody went in right before me and locked the door.  There was also one other person waiting to shower so I knew it would be a long wait. 

Catching the worlds smallest bird

I was with a military unit.  We had to occupy a building that was like a locker room with lots of rows of lockers.  We had to hid for a few minutes while enemy soldiers walked through looking for us.  They did not look very carefully because they just walked right past us without even seeing us.  After they left we had some tasks to do.  One of them was to catch a very small bird.  I caught one in my hand and it was about the size of a dragon fly.  It had translucent wings the same as a dragonfly and buzzed when I carried it.  We put it in a cage except the the bars were too wide and the bird got away.  The building we were in was laid out on a slope.  The high part of the building was where we had to go to catch the bird.  Down on a lower level we had to set up some large guns that were part of the defense. 

Lights out

I was sleeping in a bed with my girlfriend.  She was awake and I was pretending to be sleeping.  She wanted to talk about something but I kept pretending to sleep.  Eventually she got mad and I had to talk to her.  I said it was too dark and went to the door to let more light in.  I looked north and there was Boston all in the dark.  There were several blue lights shining straight up into the air.  I looked behind me and could see all the lights were turning off one at a time and heading to where I was.  I knew eventually they would get to where I was and I would be completely in the dark.  

Drag Racing

I was at the drag races.  Somehow I got involved and was going to race.  I was not too worried about winning because I was racing my motorcycle against cars.  We started off and I was way ahead.  I had to merge onto the freeway because my lane ended and turned into an entrance ramp.  I was still way ahead and the crowd was yelling for me.  Right near the end of the track there was a stop sign and as I slowed down for the stop the car I was racing came up and almost passed me.  I had to give extra gas to win the race.

Old Neighborhood

I was in my childhood town looking for the church I used to attend.  I went down the main street but for some reason it was not a straight through drive anymore.  It stopped with a large building like a bank firgh across where the street used to be then continued on.  I went a few more blocks then turned up the street where the church was.  Because of the snow in the road I could not make it up the small hill.  I had to get out and push up the hill.  When I got there the first thing I saw was the spire sticking up above the trees.  It was summer now and all the trees had green leaves.  The church was changed a lot.  The had added a large gymnasium next to the church and it was connected to the church by an elevated walkway over the street.  They front of the church was all enclosed in glass to protect it from the elements. 

Bad license plate tag

I was riding in a car with somebody.  We drove down some stairs to get to a lower level like a large courtyard.  We had to get in a long line of cars to go to a movie theater.  While we were in line a policeman pulled my friend over.  Apparently the registration sticker was on the wrong corner.  She had to dig her registration while I talked to the policeman.  I showed them how the tag was on the plates but just not in the correct spot.  The policeman made a comment about my friends intelligence and I basically agreed with him.  The policeman was wearing a white helmet with sunglasses.  He had big shoulders like a football player with shoulder pads on.  He also had a black vest that was very shiny and looked to be made out of plastic or metal. 

Working on a space station

I was at a large space station.  It was very big and the main living area had couches and a glass ceiling and glass walls so people could look out at space.  I was brought along to do a special task but my supervisor did not want me there.  I had to find things to do to keep busy.  A group of us had to go to a part of the station that did not have any gravity to do some work.  We went through a large door like a safe door.  Inside was ladders and walkways.  I was floating and had to hold on to the ladders to keep from floating away.  I tried to spin somersaults but the space was too crowded and I kept bumping into things.  I noticed it was very cold in this part of the station and all the other people were wearing sweatshirts with hoods to keep them warm.

I was working with some people on the front of a computer.  The computer was on a raised floor and was very cold.  Somebody suggested we put carpeting down on the floor to keep the cold out. 

Back in the main living area I was working on a computer that had a problem.  It was a large computer and the problem was the fans would not shut off.  There were two switches that controlled the fans but I could not come up with the right combination to shut the fans down.

It cam time for my supervisor to leave the space station.  I was very glad to see him leave.  When he left the captain of the space station maneuvered the space station to get to a higher altitude.  He dipped one side down very sharply and I was afraid.

After we got settled again people were working all over the station.  Most were underneath desks and cabinets like a mechanic underneath an automobile.  I had to put food away in the freezer.  I noticed there was a lot of meat that was not in the freezer and just sitting on top of the freezer.  It was still cold so I put it back in the freezer.  Some of the meat was pepperoni slices.   

Blind man driving.

I was at my grandfathers house and in the yard were a lot of cars parked.   I was helping somebody get out of the house and guiding them to a car because they could not see.  I assisted him into the passenger side of the car and went around to the drivers side.  Somehow this car had the drivers side on the right side instead of the left side.  The blind man started the car up and started to drive.  Unfortunately the car was in reverse and backed over a cliff.  The car was balancing on the cliff.  I jumped up and grabbed the bumper to bring the car back on the ground.

Surfing on Cement

I was by the beach and there was a whole crowd of people with surfboards.  There were so many people there was no room to surf at all.  One of the surfers was The Silver Surfer from the comics.  I had water skis and started skiing on the road.  There was nobody pulling me I just was self propelled.  I continued on the road and the road started going up hill and swerving right and left.  The curves in the road got quite extreme and I had to lean over to make the turns.  Eventually one of the curves was too sharp and I went over the edge of the road .  Below me was a cliff with a rocks and water.  I tucked down like the ski jumpers do and hit the water and kept skiing.  I went around a small cove and took a break.  There was sand and it was warm.  A lady came by and asked if I would watch her two kids.  I did. 

Typing at church

I was doing some typing for somebody at church.  It was a big book and all hand written and was a very big task.  It came time for church and there was not enough room for everybody to sit.  Somebody  said we could go to the upstairs room which had more space.  We had to get to it by squeezing through a small space that was really just a hole in the ceiling.  I mentioned to the pastor that I had gone through that space before and did not want to do it again.  Also there was somebody who was overweight ant they would never have been able to fit through the hole.   The pastor ignored me and climbed up through the hole.  There must have been somebody already up in the attic because all the pastor had to do was lift her arms and somebody pulled her through the hole. 

Wrestling

I was in a wrestling match.  The person I had to wrestle was a very highly ranked wrestler.  We started to wrestle and he was doing all kind of fancy moves.  I finally got him down but was unable to pin him.  The referee said I had to pin both shoulders and both hips at the same time.  I was unable to do that even though I had him down.

Civil War Battle

I was fighting in a civil war battle on the Northern side.  The battle went bad and a group of us had to leave and try to get back home.  Since there were so many people searching for us we had to stick to shadows and bushes.  We found a large hedge next to a house that was a perfect hiding spot.  I noticed that the Southern side was starting to make some technological advances, mainly automobiles.  They started riding around in highly decorated cars that were souped up and very fast.  Pretty soon they lost interest in fighting and were just racing their cars around.  That was when we all headed home.

Playing Music

I was in a schoolroom setting with desks and books.  I was thinking I did not have time to do all the work involved.  I walked out and back in again to get my books.  There were so many I kept dropping them.  The teacher in the front of the room thanked me for signing up to be in the band.  I told him I would gladly play but did not want to march.  He told me he had a special place picked out for me.  the spot was on the outside all by myself and ruined the perfect square of the rest of the band.  The teacher told me I had to try our first by playing some sheet music without practicing it.  I was playing electric guitar and could sight read quite well even though I had never seen the music before.  The music was on a green board in the front of the room and I played sitting down at my desk.  Everyone was impressed with my ability to play. 

Iragi coins!

I was in a room with a bunch of desks and aisles, much like a school room.  There was something shiny on the floor and I picked it up.  It was an odd looking coin about the size of a quarter but had foreign words written on it.  There was also a silhouette of a man I did not recognize.  A friend of mine sitting next to me said it was a coin from Iraq and the words meant Iraq is Free.  I wondered how he knew what the words mean.  We speculated that a soldier returning from Iraq had dropped it by accident.  When I looked at the coin further I could see it was really an American penny that had just been re-stamped with the Iraqi design.  I could still see Abraham Lincoln's picture and there was parts of the penny that were no longer round from the stamping process.  There were ragged edges all around the outside of the coin.  

Card game at the drum circle

I was sitting in a large circle with a group of people.  The circle was not really a circle but more of an L shaped circle.  People on the other side were sitting on a wall so were a little bit higher than me.  We were all playing cards.  I had an excellent hand of four aces and some other card.  I opened a beer.  Somebody on the other side of the circle said we could not drink beer there.  I asked them what kind of circle this was and they said a drum circle.  I also asked when it was decided we could not drink beer and the person told me that themselves and one other person had decided last night to make that rule.

Drumming at the Beach

I was at the beach with a group of friends.  The beach was rocky and the water was rough.  There was a wall made of rocks that extended out in to the lake.  At the end of the wall was a beautiful drum.  It was a military style like you would see in a fife and drum corps.  The harness for holding it was red with gold threads in it.  Some of us were swimming in the water.  I warned people to stay in shallow because the waves were large and the back tow could be very dangerous. 

Tennis Game

I was playing a game of tennis except the court was inside a garage.  There was no net but there was a crack in the blacktop where the net would be and a cracks where the lines would be.  I was playing a woman and we kept disagreeing over my serve.  She said my serve was good and I was not so sure because there was no net.  She won the first set quite easily because I was working on my serve.  Eventually I started serving very well and my opponent could not return any of my serves.  Sometime the ball would hit one of the cracks where the lines should be and take a crazy bounce.  The ball went way out of the court and landed in a pile of leaves and mud.  I fished them out and decided I would have to use yellow tennis balls because the green ones were too hard to find in the grass.

Working in the Computer Room

I was in an office building that had a lot of cubicles.  The cubicles were small and cramped.  A friend of mine came over and said he could get me work in the computer room.  We walked over and the computer room was great.  It had carpet on the floor and lots of room to walk around.  The computers were arraigned around the outside walls and raised up on tables.  I looked at one very closely and the enclosing cabinet was almost completely empty with just a small box that had the processor in it.  This computer also had some vintage computer games loaded in it.

Cute Tiger

A friend of mine showed me a tattoo he was going to get.  He had it all sketched out and was going to get it on the front of his thigh.  It was a beautiful Bengal tiger with orange and black stripes.  The only thing was it's head was a cute little kitten and its paws were little kitten paws playing with a ball of string.

What a beautiful place to work!

I was taking a tour of a place where a lot of technical people worked.  The outside looked like an abandoned building but inside a different story.  I walked down some steps and there was a large auditorium all in a green blue color motif.  the auditorium sloped down to a console where lots of people were working.  The floor did not slope down but was terraced so is was like gentle steps.  In the center of the console were dozens of screens which were displaying information which the people at the console were manipulating.  I looked up and the screens went up almost five stories high.  I commented to somebody next to me that it reminded me  of the last place I worked except there the whole building was made of steel.  This workplace was all made of glass.  I walked out and looked at the building again on the outside.  It was a deserted looking building much like an adobe house on a crossroads of dusty roads.  No one could tell how beautiful it was inside from looking at the outside of the building. 

At the police station

I was with some friends.  We were specifically looking for some women to take to a party at the police station.  We found one girl who would go.  She had a large dragon tattooed on her left shoulder.  It started on her shoulder and ran halfway down her back.  The police station was very tight and the hallways could hardly be passed through.  There were two rooms with partly opened doors.  The girl went through one door.  The other door open a little bit more and there was a policeman there.  He started yelling at me and told me the station was in super secret lock down. I did not believe him and told him so.  He closed the door so I could not get in the room but I noticed there were women inside that room also.  I turned around and my two friends were to my surprise also policemen.   They started complaining about the policeman behind the door and how he was abusing his authority.  Just then the door opened up and the first policeman was there.  My friends got silent and embarrassed that they had been caught complaining .  The policeman started yelling so loud steam started coming out of his ears. 

Skiing in the River

I was on a boat traveling in a river.  There was going to be a race of water skiers.  We started downstream and I swerved around the boat to pick up speed and then let go of the tow rope so I could go faster.  I was moving quite fast and my skis were narrow like snow skis.  I was moving my feet back and forth similar to the down hill slalom skiing.  there was one or two skiers ahead of me but I was gaining on them.  They were being towed by boats as opposed to me who was moving under my own power.
